Presentation of Papers

There will be a running sessions for presentation of papers. For this, interested participants should provide information at the time of registration.

Registration for the Conference

The registration for participation in 11th World Hindi Conference is mandatory for all participants, including official delegates and invited guests and is only through online process. The participant has to fill the particulars online and also to upload his/her photograph and signature by logging on to http://vishwahindisammelan.gov.in The provision of sending hard copy of the registration form by the participants has been done away with. The participants are, therefore, advised not to send hard copy of the registration form, once completed, to the Organizers.

Registration Fee

The registration fee, which is non-refundable, for various categories of participants is as follows.

General Participants
INR 5,000/- (for Indians)
US$ 100 (for foreigners)

University Students
INR 1,000/- (for Indians)
US$ 25 (for foreigners)

There are no charges for the invited Guests/Speakers/Official delegation though they are also required to register online. In addition to the registration fee, service/processing charge will also to be paid by the participants for online payment of fee through debit/credit card along with service tax, as applicable by the respective banks.

The registration fee includes meals (lunch and dinner at the Conference venue) during the Conference period and transportation arrangements from Airport to place of stay on first arrival and final departure. A Conference kit will also be provided to the participant on arrival which can be collected from the special counters set up at the Conference venue.

Meals

The registered participants will be provided meals (Lunch and dinner at the Conference venue) during the Conference period.

Accommodation

Participants, except the members of the Official Delegation, may book their accommodation directly with any of the hotels in Mauritius. For official delegation, accommodation would be arranged by the Organizers. A variety of accommodation choices are available in Mauritius.

Local transport

The Organizers will arrange pool shuttle between the airport and hotel on arrival and departure. They would also endeavour to set up a reception facilitation desk at the airport and hotels to help arriving participants. Participants with any mobility-related special needs are requested to inform the Organizers in advance so that possible assistance could be rendered. Participants who make their own accommodation arrangement at places not in the vicinity of the venue will need to make their own transport arrangements.

Shuttle bus services will be provided for the registered participants to commute to the Conference venue. There will be designated pick up and drop off points for the same.

Weather conditions

Mauritius has a tropical climate, with the summer months extending from November to April and winter from May to October. Mean summer temperature is 24.7 degrees Celsius and mean winter temperature is 20.4 degrees Celsius.

In August, the temperature normally ranges between 16ºC and 22ºC
